Released July 20, 2008: We are pleased to announce that the Quabbin Chapter of the Association of Traditional Hooking Artists (ATHA) is joining the 2008 Fiber Twist!
The 2008 Fiber Twist SM will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2008, at the Greenfield High School, Greenfield, Massachusetts.
Franklin County Chamber of Commerce sponsors its fourth annual county-wide fiber event Saturday, October 25, 2008 in Greenfield, MA. The Fiber Twist features the many sheep and fiber farmers, spinners, dyers, weavers and other fiber artisans that are found throughout Franklin County in northwestern Massachusetts. The Quabbin Chapter of ATHA is joining the Fiber Twist this year, not only in the Vendors' Marketplace, but also with an exhibit of dozens of beautiful hand-hooked wool rugs.
There is a centrally-located, indoor Vendors' Marketplace of fiber arts products, rug hooking products, and demonstrations, open from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m, at Greenfield High School, Greenfield, MA. Other local fiber arts locations are open throughout the county for visiting. Fiber arts locations around the county will be posted here.
