Our Mission, Goal, and Policies
Franklin County Fiber Twist MISSION STATEMENT:

Our mission is to promote and support local and regional fiber farmers and businesses related to natural, domestic fiber products.

Our GOAL:

To provide an educational and sales venue for our local fiber farms and fiber artists while maintaining high quality standards of business practice.

Marketplace Vendor Application Policies:

Photos and full descriptions of all the types of products you will offer to sell must be submitted along with the application. It is the Fiber Twist Planning Committee's prerogative to give priority to Franklin County vendors first, Massachusetts vendors second, and all other vendors third, while maintaining a diverse range of locally-produced, value-added fiber products. Locally-produced products will be given a priority. The Fiber Twist Planning Committee reserves the right to refuse or reject any vendor's application, and will return full space fees with rejected applications. Should you choose to withdraw your application, we reserve the right to withhold 10% of the application fee, and will not refund any fees after October 10, 2008.

We seek quality fiber-related products in a full price range, wherever possible. We strongly suggest vendors offer a variety of price points in order to reach the widest possible audience. This will be a factor in the Planning Committee's acceptance of vendor applications.

Participating Marketplace Vendor Policies:

The Marketplace hours are 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Each vendor must remain open for the entire duration of the event. The event will be held, rain, snow or shine.

All booths must be set up between 7:00-8:30 a.m. on October 25. Vendors must supply their own booth structures. Structures must be free-standing; anchoring into the floor is not allowed. After vendors have unloaded at the entrance of the event location, they must park their vehicle(s) away from the building in a designated location. A limited number of volunteers will be available to help unload vehicles. Breakdown begins at 4:00 p.m.; NO EARLY BREAKDOWN.
