Mission Statement and Policies
Mission and Goal
Sponsored by the Franklin County Chamber of Commerce, the 7th Annual Fiber Twist is a county-wide event designed to provide an educational and sales venue for local fiber farms and fiber artists. The event showcases the many sheep and fiber farmers, spinners, dyers, felters, weavers, rug hookers and other artisans involved with natural, domestic fiber products that can be found throughout Franklin County in northwestern Massachusetts.

Please submit full descriptions of all the types of products you will offer to sell (if you are new to Fiber Twist, please also submit product photos). Please be very specific with
regard to your product list and origin of the products. It is the Fiber Twist Planning Committee’s prerogative to give priority to Franklin County vendors first, Massachusetts vendors second, and all other vendors third, while maintaining a diverse range of locally-produced, value-added fiber products. Locally-produced products will be given a priority. The Fiber Twist Planning Committee reserves the right to refuse any vendor’s application and
will return full space fees. Should you choose to withdraw your application, we reserve the right to withhold 10% of the booth fee, and will not refund any fees after August 15, 2011.
We seek quality fiber-related products in a full price range, wherever possible. We strongly suggest vendors offer a variety of price points in order to reach the widest possible audience. This will be a factor in the Planning Committee’s acceptance of vendor applications.
Participating Marketplace Vendor Policies
The Marketplace hours are 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Each vendor must remain open for the entire duration of the event. The event will be held, rain, snow or shine.
