Welcome to Fiber Twist!

Sponsored by the Franklin County Chamber of Commerce, Fiber TwistSM is the annual county-wide fiber event that showcases the many sheep and fiber farmers, spinners, dyers, weavers, rug hookers and other fiber artisans that are found throughout Franklin County in northwestern Massachusetts.

Now in its seventh year, the 2011 Fiber Twist will be held on Saturday, September 17th, at the Employee Health & Fitness Center at Yankee Candle Company's flagship store in South Deerfield, Massachusetts.

The centrally-located, indoor Vendor Marketplace is open to the public, free of charge, from 10am - 4pm and will feature a fashion show, fiber arts products, rug hooking products and demonstrations.

There will also be open studios and farms on Sunday.

Members of the Quabbin Chapter of the Association of Traditional Hooking Artists (ATHA) join the 2011 Fiber Twist for their fourth year.

Worldwide Spin in Public DaySeptember 17th is also the date of the 2011 Worldwide Spin in Public Day and we'll be hosting a sip at this year's Fiber Twist! Visit the event website for more on this celebration of handspinning.
